There remains no word on who Jake Paul will face next. After a shocking win over former NBA player Nate Robinson, the 23-year-old has called out several names to a fight. Among those who he called out include Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis.

Take note, that Paul called them out for a boxing match. Even then, some believe that the YouTuber may want to second-think calling out one of those names.

McGregor has one fight under his belt and this was against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017. Though the Irishman lost that fight to the undefeated American pug, most saw how “The Notorious” was able to last in the ring with an actual and legit championship boxer.

The keyword to note there is a legit boxer.

So far, Paul has faced a couple of names that do not have boxing experience. Before Robinson, he faced fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib. On both occasions, he won via knockout. But with the way he has been fighting, there is no question that Paul is taking the sport seriously and at another level.

That in mind, Daniel Cormier and Ariel Herwani gave their take on what would turn out if Paul met either McGregor or Danis on Instagram.

“Conor McGregor beats Jake Paul in a boxing match, but Jake Paul beats Dillon Danis in a boxing match. Dillon does not need to fight Jake. He’ll get beat up,” the post read.

This is if the fight were to take inside the boxing ring. The scenario would change if it was a mixed-martial-arts duel. Regardless of who between McGregor and Danis he faces, Paul would get a sound beating from either.

Danis may not have boxing experience but he is well-adept with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, BJ Penn reported.

Paul is unlikely to give in to that since he is focusing on boxing. Outside the two MMA names, others are willing to face the 23-year-old YouTuber.

That list includes NHL players Ryan Reaves and Evander Kane who are down to take up Paul’s challenge. But if Paul wants to prove his boxing capacity, two names make sense – Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Antonio Tarver.

Paul had already approached Mayweather for a fight but nothing has gone down. Money may have responded on social media but this was in reaction to the disrespectful jabs hurled his way.

Tarver, on the other hand, wants Paul to prove he can box against a real boxer. The 52-year-old has been out of the ring since 2005 but remains a dangerous foe for his knowledge about the sport.

So who will Jake Paul pick? The answer to that should be known in the coming months.
