A new character is coming to "Genshin Impact" through a future update, according to a new leak.

Chinese gaming studio miHoYo earlier confirmed that it would release more updates to update "Genshin Impact" and to improve the overall gaming experience. One of the reasons why many gamers love the new gacha game is because of its roster of characters. According to tipster NEP NEP Genshin Impact Leaks, the game is getting another one soon.

On Twitter, the tipster mentioned that the upcoming character is Tohama. She is a five-star character sporting a unique but familiar design. The tipster also shared a photo showing the front and back appearance of the alleged upcoming character.

It is worth noting that even the leaker mentioned in the tweet that the information should be taken with a pinch of salt. miHoYo just launched the Gentry of Hermitage banner that features Zhongli, Xinyan, Razor and Chongyun. This means it might take some time before players could see Tohama in the game if she is indeed arriving.

Tohama has been included in the massive leak that surfaced in November. The set of details about "Genshin Impact" was uncovered through several datamining activities conducted by fans on the game's files. It includes characters like Hu Tao, who is a funeral parlor boss who does not get along with Qiqi. the character is a Pyro Polearm wielder from Liyue.

Other characters reportedly arriving in "Genshin Impact" includes Mimi, a Hydro Catalyst from Inazuma, Yunjin, a Geo Polearm from Liyue and Sayo, who is an Anemo Claymore from Inazuma. The leak also mentioned Yaoyao, a Catalyst from Liyue who studied with Xiangling and gets along well with Qiqi.

Tohama is mentioned on the leak and is described as a Pyro Polearm who's from Inazuma. A couple more characters were named in the leak. These are Shenli, who is a Cyro Claymore from Liyue and Rosaria, a Cyro Claymore from Monstadt.

"Genshin Impact" recently received A New Star Approached update that introduced a lot of improvements in the game including changes in the controversial Resin. The update was released on Nov. 11 and featured the Unreconciled Stars event.

"Genshin Impact" is playable on PC, PlayStation 4, iOs and Android devices. The gacha game is also available on PS5 through backward compatibility. It is currently in development for Nintendo Switch. PS5 owners are looking forward that miHoyo would soon release the game's PS5 version.
