It is understandable to see YouTuber Jake Paul and his camp still at an all-time high. After a sensational knockout win over former NBA player Nate Robinson, the 23-year-old is on a tear.

BJ Flores, the trainer of Paul, believes the 23-year-old can take it to the next level. He wants the YouTuber to face an authentic mixed martial arts fighter next. He feels that his boy can really punch and that there is more that people have yet to see from him, Boxingscene reported.

“People don’t realize Jake can really punch. Nobody even got to see the technical side last night. Jake has a lot more tools in the bag. I want him in there with a real MMA fighter next. These other influencers/trained pro athletes don’t stand a chance," Flores said.

Flores narrated how the fight came to be. Robinson called out Paul, saying he was soft and not a real athlete who wanted to fight bums. The 36-year-old may have had a point but the problem there is that Paul had the edge in terms of fighting.

Paul already has two professional fights to his credit. Having no experience in boxing, Robinson faced tall odds regardless if he has proven that he is a fearless cager ready to take risks.

Also, Flores credits Paul for where he is right now. He reveals how serious the 23-year-old is when he trains despite being involved in several endeavors.

"Jake 100% moves the needle. I told everybody in the beginning he’s gonna be a superstar in boxing because of the POWER he has to generate excitement. Jake has the X factor and you can’t teach it. Jake is a true entertainer. His music, boxing, etc. He is very talented and a hard working young man. I'm very proud of him," Flores explained.

As far as MMA fighters he could face, it is no secret that he has been angling to face Conor McGregor or Dillon Danis. Those rants have not gained any traction though anything can happen moving forward.

But there is a point of contention here – both are still not boxers. McGregor may have one boxing fight to his credit, making him a dangerous opponent. Danis may not fare that well since it is a type of fighting style he has not focused on.

If Paul wants to prove himself as a serious boxer, the way to go is to face someone who knows the sport. Antonio Tarver and Claressa Shield are two official boxers who were not too happy with what is happening to boxing. Will Paul, or even Flores, consider fighting an actual boxer instead?
