There is little doubt that the success of The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Clone Wars has led to an onslaught of new Star Wars content. Interestingly, all these new shows could have one thing in common. A new leak suggests that Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison will appear in at least two more shows that will air on Disney+.

It's no secret that Temuera Morrison's casting in The Mandalorian was one of the more exciting updates about the series earlier this year. After all, Morrison had originally played Jango Fett and the Clone Troopers that appeared in the Star Wars prequel trilogy films. However, the Aquaman actor was actually cast as Boba Fett in the second season of the Disney+ show. On the other hand, that might not be the only role he will portray soon.

There were several updates on the Star Wars projects during Disney Investor Day but one of the major highlights was Hayden Christensen being confirmed to return as Darth Vader in Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. The news immediately had fans excited about the possibility that Christensen's Anakin Skywalker will once again go up against Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan. However, Darth Vader might not be the only one who is after the Jedi Master in the series.

A leak from the latest Kessel Run Transmissions livestream pointed out that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will reveal that the Galactic Empire hasn't given up on looking for the Jedi Master. Interestingly, it was suggested that the Empire will send a clone squad to track down Obi-Wan after the events in Revenge of the Sith. Amazingly, the leak confirms that Commander Cody will lead the squad, who will be played by Temuera Morrison.

The idea of bringing back Commander Cody is an awesome one considering that CC-2224 was the Clone Trooper who worked with Obi-Wan Kenobi throughout the Clone Wars. In addition to that, Cody almost killed Obi-Wan when Order 66 was dropped in Revenge of the Sith. Needless to say, it makes sense that he would be the one tasked with the mission to find Obi-Wan since he somehow made it possible for the Jedi Master to escape.

In addition to showing up in Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Temuera Morrison is expected to reprise his role as Boba Fett in a planned standalone series for the character. However, this new show has not yet been confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm. With that in mind, it is best to take it with a grain of salt.

Temuera Morrison appears as Boba Fett in The Mandalorian Season 2, which airs on Disney+ every Fridays.
