The popular battle royale mode in "Call of Duty Mobile" called Attack of the Undead is reportedly returning and could arrive in Season 14.

If the game's latest test build is to go by, there is a great chance that the Attack of the Undead could launch once again in "Call of Duty Mobile" in the next season. The January test build of the game has the amped version of the popular game mode. It is highly likely that the new version will feature 20 players.

What is The Attack of the Undead Mode in "Call of Duty Mobile"

The Attack of the Undead mode places 20 "Call of Duty Mobile" players on a huge map and splits them into Survivors and the Undead. The Survivors' goal is to reach the end of the match's time limit while the Undead is bent to infect every living player on the map. There are two Undead players at the start of the map with normal weapons.

However, if the Undead is killed, they respawn with only the knife as their weapon. In this mode, survivors could earn perks from zombie kills. They can get the Scavenger perk to refill ammo or the Restock for faster operator skill regeneration or even Amped to boost weapon swap and reload speed. If the number of survivors is down to only one, the lone survivor gets the Death Machine to fight the Undead.

 

Other Details

At this point, the return of Attack of the Undead in "Call of Duty Mobile" is nothing but speculation. However, the appearance of the mode in the game's January test build is a fact that is hard to argue with. Test builds are the place where incoming features or content of the game are introduced for testing against bugs and glitches. They are later rolled out and introduced to the game, most of the time.

As for its potential return date, rumors have it that the popular mode might be introduced in the game's next season, which is Season 14 or Season 1. The next season of "Call of Duty Mobile" is anticipated to launch on Jan. 25. The January test build was launched for the devs to conduct some "tech-based tests."

With the developer's promise that more content will be released in the hit mobile shooter game and with the popularity of the Attack of the Undead mode, there is a chance that fans could soon enjoy it in the game. However, since it is not yet official, fans should temper their expectations and take these details with a pinch of salt.
