Zendaya has to stay at home and isolate like the rest of the public due to the pandemic. With her halted stints in the world of show business, there is less work to do, as well.
But, the actress recently revealed that she had a realization about having "more physical activity." She said that she could not just stay inside her home and "not do anything all day."
Speaking to an episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the 24-year-old celebrity shared how she stays active amid the lockdown. She uncovered the "creative twist" that she incorporated into her day to motivate herself, according to Cheat Sheet.
Zendaya said that she enlisted the help of her assistant Darnell Appling. Alongside this, she would, also, wear different wigs to "inspire" her to do her workout.
The Euphoria actress explained that she found this to be effective because she "missed acting so much." She noted that she had a collection of wigs, which she always utilizes on red carpets.
Upon wearing a wig for the day, she would come down and do certain characters. She added that she would try to entertain Appling and make him laugh every day.
As for the specific workout routines that Zendaya does, Rachel Attard released a report about the matter based on what the actress previously declared on her website. The publication said that she is "making fitness more of a priority" as she gets older.
Some of the exercises that she does include bicycle crunches, leg raises, pop squats, Russian crosses, wide-leg squats, and lunges. She, also, does a few laps, pushups, and arm raises, alongside her TRX straps.
Apart from her usual workout regimen, the Spider-Man star does a lot of training and fitness sessions for her film roles. These include dancing and choreography stunts. But, despite being active, the young actress does not, reportedly, love going to the gym.
Zendaya partners her active lifestyle with her vegetarian diet. The Beet previously reported that the actress changed her eating habits when she was 9. However, she revealed that she does not like vegetables, making her entire diet "challenging."
Reports noted that the Disney alum became vegetarian mainly for "ethical reasons," and being one means that she could still consume dairy products, unlike vegans. Because of this, she could still enjoy her favorite meal, which is ice cream.
The actress previously uncovered that she is not a big cook. So, she always utilizes Postmates to order food, and end up getting ice cream for dinner.
