Bridgerton has become Netflix's most-watched series of all time. Apart from the plot and storylines, avid viewers, also, seemingly enjoy all the "steamy" and romantic scenes of the show.
But, this does not appear to be the case for everyone. Regé-Jean Page recently revealed that he and his family members warned each other about all the episodes containing "NSFW" moments, according to Pop Sugar.
Speaking to The Graham Norton Show, the 31-year-old actor stated that his family has a WhatsApp group, wherein they communicate. He shared that, following the release of the series, tons of emojis, like the "flashing red light" and "odd peach," became apparent to warn the rest of the family regarding which episodes had his racy scenes.
Page claimed, however, that not everyone got the "memo," causing shock to some of his cousins while watching Bridgerton. He said that he got "a very stern message" from one of his relatives, saying that he should have given them a "cousin warning" beforehand.
He continued that one of his family members even ended up making "tactical cups of tea" to distract themselves from the scenes in question. But, this did not seemingly help as his relative told him that even after making the cup of tea, he was "still going" with the undressing scene.
Insider recently reported that the "raunchy sex scenes" have become the major factors attributing to Bridgerton's massive success on Netflix. Over 82 million households have already streamed the material in its first 28 days.
However, "intimacy coordinator" Lizzy Talbot, who choreographed the scenes, revealed that she "had no idea" that the plot will feature numerous very "steamy" moments between the two lead characters. She added that she only thought of a "kiss" would be on the material.
Talbot, later on, noted that she asked her mother to check the material out for her. This is because she has not read the book herself when she signed on for the post.
The choreographer, then, claimed that her mother messaged her back after going through the story. She told her that she would be "busy" because of all the "intimacy" that she had to work on for the show.
Bridgerton dropped on Netflix last Christmas. It has eight episodes, each lasting for nearly an hour.
A few weeks after its release, the streaming giant gave the show a green light for its second season. Reports said that the cast members are hoping for its return this Christmas.
