Anime has become one of today's best forms of entertainment. Many people across the globe and of all ages love to engage with various animated materials, despite the difference in language.
While several of the most successful series and shows continue to attract numerous audiences and viewers, some individuals believe that tons of these materials should have ended earlier. CBR recently released a list of which animated shows that went on far too long.
This comes after the length of their respective courses seemingly causes the overall quality to degrade as time passes by. Some of these materials are still even working on their ways to give their fans and followers a great ending.
Bleach is one of the anime shows that seemingly ran for too long on small screens. Despite its overall fame and success, some individuals believe that the series has "died" because of all the fillers.
The material ran 366 episodes before calling it a day. Nearly nine years have passed since it ended its course on television. But, there are speculations these past few months that it may return this year to continue where it left off.
Another hit animated show that should have ended earlier is Dragon Ball Z. The publication said that while this takes up the majority of the franchise, there is no denying that it is filled with unnecessary plots that likely impacted some of the series' biggest fights.
The same outlet, also, listed Detective Conan as one of the anime shows that should have ended earlier. In fact, it is still ongoing today, causing many fans and viewers to lose interest in its plots and storylines.
Reports noted that Detective Conan is one of the "longest running anime and manga series." It first emerged in 1996, and it persists in creating new paths and journeys for the characters today.
While the material remains to be entertaining for some people, some have already, reportedly, lost interest as the show no longer provides unique movements. Moreover, the outlet stated that it can be quite difficult now to point out which installments are essential to the main course of the series.
Ranker previously released a similar list, which appears to have proven that several anime shows should have concluded their courses on a much earlier point. Apart from Dragon Ball Z, Detective Conan, and Bleach, the chart includes Naruto and One Piece, which both happen to be still ongoing today.
There are no confirmations yet as to when these two anime series will end. But, there are hints that One Piece may conclude its course in the next three to four years.
