The members of 2NE1 continue to excite fans even years after the group's disbandment. Since their exit in 2016, their avid followers have remained hopeful about their potential return or reunion.
While the four K-Pop "legends" have yet to confirm their plans for the group in the future, they always share updates on their respective social media accounts. AllKpop reported that members Sandara Park and Minzy recently reunited and flaunted their warm bond on Instagram.
As explained, the two South Korean celebrities served as panelists for MBC's entertainment show, Masked Singer. While on set, the former 2NE1 members took the time to capture the moment and share it with their followers on social media platforms.
The publication said that Sandara Park posted two photos of them together. Based on these pictures, there was a clear acrylic divider between her and Minzy as part of the social distancing protocols.
Despite this, the divider did not seemingly stop them from "radiating warm affection" toward one another. As seen in the photos, they appear to have enjoyed their quick get-together on the set of the show.
Dara, also, captioned the post with a warm tribute to Minzy. She said that "it has been so long that the Maknae line (fake Maknae and real Maknae" was able to be on a broadcast together."
She continued that despite the clear glass between them, she was "still happy" to be with Minzy. Dara, then, urged her, later on, to "come visit more often" on the set.
Prior to the engagement earlier this week, the four members of 2NE1 had a special reunion earlier in January. Soompi reported that the K-Pop legends got together to celebrate their maknae's birthday.
Amid the celebration, the South Korean celebrities posted several clips and photos of their fun and happy moments at the event. Reports, also, noted that they held the party at CL's studio.
Following the special birthday celebration, several reports emerged that a potential reunion among the 2NE1 members might happen soon. This all came after members Sandara Park and Minzy revealed that they have been talking about it for quite some time now.
NME released a report about the matter, detailing what Minzy had to say about the speculations. She said that they are currently "at the stage of talking about doing something" for their avid fans and followers. While they could not give any information or details about their discussions, the 2NE1 members have always emphasized that they "meet each other often."
