Manifest season 3 episode 1 is officially coming this week on NBC, with the title "Tailfin." The latest installment of the supernatural drama picks up where the story left off, with the huge mystery at the center of it. The episode title alone suggests that the tailfin found in the ocean will be the major focus.

Manifest season 3 episode 1 will continue the massive revelation at the end of the season 2 finale. The tailfin was found in the ocean, which was odd for all the passengers since the plane landed on the ground. This unexpected discovery adds more mysteries for them -- in addition to the callings.

The biggest question for the Stone siblings, Ben (Josh Dallas) and Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh), and other passengers is that how Flight 828 crashed in the middle of the ocean. All of them believe they're still alive -- though more than five years had passed the time they landed.

In Manifest season 3 episode 1, everyone will further question their existence. Ben looks for answers as to why the tailfin ended in the sea and how it is possible that they safely landed. He's going to different places in order to solve all the mysteries surrounding the flight.

As the synopsis notes, Ben and Robert Vance (Daryl Edward) will be heading on an international mission to find more clues to unlock the mysteries of Flight 828. But, while their journey could deliver certain answers to them, more questions may arise along the way.

The Callings will be intense than what they've previously encountered. The promo of the Manifest season 3 episode 1 was also unveiled, featuring Ben looking for the mysterious boat in one of his son's, Cal (Jack Messina), drawings.

A few moments after stepping on the mysterious boat, he suddenly has another Calling of several people screaming. This is another mystery that they had to deal with, and how these people are connected to them and why they're seeing them.

Meanwhile, newlyweds Michaela and Zeke Landon (Matt Long) go on their own adventure after experiencing this intense Calling. The latter isn't receiving any Callings now since he was able to beat his supposed "death date." Thus, he only gets the information through his wife.

As for what else is coming in the premiere, Saanvi Bahl (Parveen Kaur) is feeling guilty and tries to forget the wrong things she did in the past by starting a new chapter of her life. Jared Vasquez (J.R. Ramirez), on the other hand, becomes interested in the arrival of an intriguing stranger.

Manifest season 3 episode 1 airs on Thursday, April 1, on NBC.
