Grey's Anatomy season 17 episode 11 may finally see Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) waking up. She has been unconscious since the early part of the current installment after being tested positive for COVID-19. Now, it seems like she is waking up and she'll learn that a lot of things changed around her.

Earlier in the medical drama, Meredith was put on a ventilator and she's only seen awake in her dream beach sequence. Along the way, she met the important people -- who have been long dead -- in her life. But, she is going back to reality in Grey's Anatomy season 17 episode 11.

Titled "Sorry Doesn't Always Make It Right," this week's episode may revolve around Meredith and the changes around her while she was unconscious. In the promo, she can be seen opening her eyes and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) is sitting beside her.

In the previous episode, Meredith came across her late sister Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and Mark (Eric Dane) on the beach. During the premiere, she met her late husband Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey). Now that she saw them, there may not be enough reason for the character to stay on the beach.

Since Meredith has been unconscious for quite a long time, Grey's Anatomy season 17 episode 11 may finally see the character getting back in good shape. However, she needs updates on what happened around her and to her fellow doctors after her time in the dream beach sequence.

One of the biggest questions here is how she's going to react when she finds out that Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) is already dead. The two formed a special relationship and he's a potential love interest to her. There'll be a lot of emotional and dramatic moments coming here.

As for what else is coming in Grey's Anatomy season 17 episode 11, the doctors must race against time when a newlywed couple met a car accident and were severely injured. This particular storyline brings another crossover with the firefighter spin-off, Station 19.

Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams), on the other hand, is becoming more generous with the COVID-19 positive patients. However, his actions go a little bit far this time. Cormac Hayes (Richard Flood) will try to rebuild Maggie Pierce's (Kelly McCreary) and will convince her to do risky heart surgery.

Grey's Anatomy season 17 episode 11 airs on Thursday, April 8, on ABC.
