Stray Kids is hitting the headlines on Friday. This comes after Ryan Reynolds greeted the K-Pop group on Twitter following their performance on Kingdom: Legendary War.

Soompi reported that the eight-member act delivered a "unique Deadpool-inspired" performance on the competition show's May 20 episode. They, also, utilized a mash-up track of "God's Menu" and BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU."

Shortly after the episode, one fan edited a clip from Deadpool and infused it with member Felix's intro from the Kingdom performance. It immediately trended on the platform, an event that seemingly caught Ryan Reynold's attention.

The Deadpool actor replied twice to the viral tweet of the fan. His first response only included a crossed two-sword emoji. He quickly followed it up with another post, saying "hello" to the group, and tagged Stray Kids' official Twitter account.

The two tweets from Ryan Reynolds blew up and trended, as well. The second post has since obtained over 76,000 likes and 3,000 comments.

Reports, also, noted that this has even caused the K-Pop group's popularity to rise among those who are not familiar with them. As a result, they seemingly gained more followers on the platform and fans across the globe.

Koreaboo released a similar report covering what happened earlier on Friday. As revealed, the members of Stray Kids are known fans of Ryan Reynolds, especially Bang Chan.

Many fans, reportedly, believe that the K-Pop idols have already seen the Deadpool actor's tweets about them. The reason being is that Bang Chan, whose English name is "Chris," updated his Bubble bio and claimed that "from now on," he is using the name "Chris Reynolds."

The publication, later on, said that the fandom is"ecstatic" that the Hollywood star noticed the K-Pop idols, who are big fans of his.

Stray Kids have yet to release another album. They dropped their first full track collection, Go Live, on June 17, 2020.

While there are no confirmations yet about their plans for 2021, the K-Pop group released a brief line-up of their activities earlier this year. A separate report from Soompi shared their announcement, which took place last January.

On New Year, they dropped their "fun video" titled, "STEP OUT 2021." It initially features the group's achievements in the industry in the past year.

In the second part of the material, the members shared their "new mission" for the new year, noting that they have lined up a set of activities for their fandom.

Apart from revealing their reality show, SKZ CODE, Stray Kids, also, teased a new song, as well as an "SKZOO pop-up store." In addition, they provided hints at the release of their potential second full album, which will, reportedly, include a "mysterious collaboration" with an unnamed artist.
