Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly "self-proclaimed woke crusaders" as they talk a great game. But, they are said to be a "scam," and only doing so to land lucrative deals and projects.

A royal source told Globe that the former working royals' "concern" to certain issues "stops when it comes to continuing to take" money from Spotify. This comes as the couple "refused" to end their partnership with the company over the COVID-19 misinformation scandal.

As explained, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "resisting pressure" to join the list of celebrities who boycotted the streaming platform for featuring anti-vaxxer Joe Rogan and his podcast. The personality has been accused of "spreading dangerous misinformation," saying that the COVID-19 vaccines do not work.

The outlet explained that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would not put their "money where their mouths are" as they continue their deals with Spotify. This is despite the couple blaming "mass-scale misinformation" and "peddling lies" for individuals who refuse to take the COVID-19 jabs.

In addition, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, also, released a "high-sounding" statement through the Archewell foundation. The duo said that they, alongside the non-profit organization, have "worked to address the real-time global misinformation crisis."

The address continued that the former working royals began expressing their concerns, as well, from April last year toward the company "about the all too real consequences of COVID-19 misinformation on its platform."

But, even after speaking out and acknowledging the matter, the U.S.-based royals remain in partnership with Spotify.

The assertions seemingly first emerged on MailOnline in late January. It reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would not cut ties with Spotify "despite an ongoing row."

The pair were said to have explained that they were "committed to continuing" the deal to "ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health crisis." As noted, the partnership with the tech giant has allowed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to reportedly receive about $25 million.

CNN recalled that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are some of the "most notable audio personalities" in Spotify's roster of artists. The former working royals announced their exclusive deal with the company nearly a year after their exit from the British Monarchy.

The official news release about the partnership notes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will "host and produce podcasts," as well as numerous other programs. The materials were said to "build community through shared experience, narratives, and values."
