Apple is releasing a fresh can of green paint for the iPhone 13 Mini, 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max just in time for St. Paddy's Day, among a raft of other devices at its "Peek Performance" launch event.

You heard it right - Apple is releasing two new colors for our favorite smartphone, similar to the well-received purple iPhone 12 from last spring's unveiling.

Green joins blue, pink, Product RED, Starlight, and Midnight as available colors for the 13 and 13 Mini, while Alpine Green joins Sierra Blue, Space Gray, Midnight, and Starlight for the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. Every other feature of the 13 Mini, 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max will remain unchanged, including the dazzling OLED displays driven by a snappy A15 Bionic CPU and having an amazing dual- or tri-camera array.

According to CINNO Research, the Apple iPhone 13 was the best-selling individual model in China in January, with 2.3 million purchases. The vanilla 13 has been at the top of the individual sales charts for the fourth month in a row (including October to December of last year). This was the first time in six years that an iPhone has topped the chart.

In January, the iPhone 13 accounted for a considerable portion of Apple's total sales in China, with the company moving 5.1 million handsets. In comparison to January of last year, this is an increase of 11.4%.

The Chinese market is basically level with last year (+0.4%), but has grown 38.6% since December (the Spring festival, the most important in China, kicks off on Feb. 1). In the country, 30.87 million cellphones were sold.

Oppo leads the market with 5.4 million devices sold, a drop of more than 20% from January of previous year. It should be noted that the figures do not include Realme phones. The best-selling phones were the Oppo Reno 7 5G (of course, the Chinese version) and the Oppo A56 5G.

Xiaomi, on the other hand, has dropped to 5th rank, down 12.7 percent from last year. Honor and Apple have both surpassed the corporation in terms of sales with 4.4 million units sold. The Xiaomi 12 series (released in December) failed to make an impression.

On March 11, you can preorder your very own green iPhone 13 Mini, 13 or Alpine Green 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max for $699, $799, $999, or $1,099, with shipping beginning March 18. Accessories such as a leather MagSafe wallet, silicon or leather cases, and AirTag holders are already available for purchase.
