The content of Prince Harry's much-awaited memoir remains a mystery, but a royal expert predicts it will include details about his royal exit. As it may shed light on his decision to step down as a senior royal, it may reveal Meghan Markle as the main "catalyst."

The very core of the palace might have been shaken after Prince Harry decided to leave the monarchy and live a more private life in the U.S with Meghan Markle and their child, Archie, in March 2020. From there, a lot has been said about their previous royal lives, and the Duke of Sussex may finally reveal what led him to that decision in his upcoming book.

Author Katie Nicholl believed the fifth in line to the throne might use his book as an opportunity to tell the events that led to his and her wife's royal departure, and the Duchess of Sussex might come out as the "catalyst" for their big move. However, the "DYNASTY" podcast co-host noted that the prince might have been contemplating it for years.

She said on "Palace Confidential," via Express, that King Charles III and Princess Diana's youngest child had told her in an interview that he wished he "wasn't born a prince." This made the royal corresponded believe that the father-of-two had been wanting his way out as the thought of being Prince William's spare might have taken its toll on him.

She then tried to defend the Duchess of Sussex, explaining that as many blamed the wife for allegedly igniting the rift in the royal family and the renowned Megxit, she might only be the catalyst her husband had been waiting for his whole life.

That said, Prince Harry might finally break his silence on why he left the monarchy in his new book. However, long before its release, Nicholl claimed the royal family already had concerns about the possible allegations that it might contain.

She said it had caused "a lot of consternation in the royal circles," as the senior royals and palace aides didn't know what to expect. Anyhow, rumors have it Prince Harry is making last-minute edits to the memoir in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II's passing.

Lord Jeffrey Archer claimed the tell-all would now end detailing Her Majesty's funeral after her grandson wrote a new chapter surrounding his grandmother's demise and the events that led up to the burial. Princess Diana's friend also expressed his concerns over the book and how it would affect the Sussexes' relationship with the royal family, fearing the feud might worsen.

"I'm very sad. I fear for the book," he told  The Daily Mail. "I know they're writing the chapter on the funeral, so I suppose that's what the book will end on."

The controversial memoir was supposed to be out this fall. But Prince Harry reportedly launched an "eleventh-hour bid" to change some of its passages, thinking it would be insensitive after Queen Elizabeth's death. He was allegedly "desperate" to make some significant changes after seeing the public's support for the royal family.
