Prince Harry, contemplating a move back to England, stirs speculation amid the royal family's health issues.

After the Diana Legacy Awards ceremony, which recognized young humanitarians who inspire positive change, just as his late mother, Princess Diana, did, Prince Harry appeared via video call at London’s Science Museum on March 14 to congratulate the 2024 winners.

“It’s a privilege to have [his] support, particularly as we mark our 25th anniversary year,” Dr. Tessy Ojo, chief executive of the Diana Award, told The Times (via The Independent) in Britain. In the future, however, Prince Harry will be more easily able to tip his hat to honorees in person.

“He’s planning to move his family back to England,” an unnamed insider revealed to Life & Style of “homesick” Prince Harry, who shares Archie and Lilibet with Meghan Markle. “When he told Meghan, she was beyond shocked. She can’t believe he’s even considering it,” it furthered.

Life & Style previously reported that Prince Harry reconnected with estranged brother Prince William and dad, King Charles, amid the monarch’s cancer battle – as well as sister-in-law Princess Kate’s slow recovery from a mysterious abdominal surgery and cancer diagnosis – and he is eager to be by his royal relative’s side during this trying time.

“He wants to help out. Harry apologized to William for all the drama he’s caused, and ever since then, they’ve been in contact a lot more. William has even been encouraging Harry to come back home, too,” the tipster insisted.

It can be recalled that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially stepped down as members of the royal family on March 31, 2020. During the ensuing years, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex repeatedly attacked the royal family in interviews, their own Netflix docuseries, and Prince Harry’s tell-all book called “Spare,” throwing out accusations of racism, bullying, and more.

So, perhaps it is no surprise that Prince Harry’s proclamation about returning to his home country has caused tension. “Meghan refuses to leave California. Harry accused her of having no compassion, and it led to one of the biggest fights they’ve ever had. The situation has been super stressful,” an insider stated.

However, Prince Harry’s mind is reportedly set. “Though he would never really leave Meghan and the kids behind, he did threaten he wouldd go to England without her. He feels helpless living so far away as his family is struggling. He can’t stand by and not do anything,” the same source continued.

In February, Prince Harry told ABC News' Will Reeve in a "Good Morning America" interview that he spoke with his father about his diagnosis, which was made public on Feb. 5, and quickly made plans to see him in person. "I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could. Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that,” the Duke of Sussex told Will in Whistler as they toured the site of next year's Invictus Games.

Prince Harry, who declined to elaborate on his father's diagnosis, added that he hopes to see King Charles again soon, stating, "I've got other trips planned that will take me through the U.K., or back to the U.K., and so I'll stop in and see my family as much as I can."

Prince Harry reportedly met with King Charles, who has since begun cancer treatment, for less than an hour on February 6 and spent the night in a hotel before departing from London's Heathrow Airport the following day.

While in London, Prince Harry did not meet with his older brother, Prince William, with whom he recently strained relations. Meanwhile, following the announcement of Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle contacted the Prince and Princess of Wales, according to the BBC.

Kensington Palace has not commented, but the contact is believed to have been made privately. Previously, Prince Harry and Meghan expressed their wishes for Princess Kate’s "health and healing" and urged her and her family to heal "privately and in peace.”

In a brief video message, Princess Kate stated that it had been an "incredibly difficult couple of months," but she was feeling "well" and "getting stronger every day." The specifics of the cancer have not been disclosed. According to Kensington Palace, the princess is confident she will fully recover.

Princess Kate had abdominal surgery in January, but the presence of cancer was unknown at the time. The following tests revealed the presence of cancer.

Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on the claims that the Duke of Sussex has decided to bring his family back to England amid the cancer battles of King Charles and Princess Kate. Hence, avid royal family followers should take all these unverified reports with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.

Business Times is open to hearing from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about recent reports of a disagreement over the duke’s supposed plan to return to England.
