Meghan Markle is really upset over the most recent product launch by King Charles, a new report claimed.
Most, if not all, royal fans are aware that, in the beginning of this year, the Duchess of Sussex soft launched her lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard. Meghan has been teasing the public with some of the products that would be offered under its name, specifically strawberry jam, raspberry jam, and dog biscuits, by sending them to a variety of influencers and friends.
The exact date of the hard launch of American Riviera Orchard has not been established; nevertheless, the most recent promotions that Meghan has been running have been eclipsed by the introduction of King Charles's most recent product to hit the stores. This product is his organic Highgrove Royal Estate Honey, which comes in a jar that weighs 350 grams and costs a whopping twenty-five pounds.
King Charles sells a variety of preserves and savories through the Highgrove Shop, which is also a site where he sells royal mementos and presents that are inspired by his own interests and his garden, which has won multiple awards.
When Meghan sent the first batch of strawberry jams to influencers in April for them to taste test, it also resulted in an increase in sales for King Charles's own version of the product, which was his Highgrove Organic Strawberry Preserve, which retailed for £6.95.
According to a source, Meghan is of the opinion that the introduction of the King Charles’ honey is "no coincidence" and that she desires to face her father-in-law, but her husband, Prince Harry, is "holding her back" from doing so.
"She is trying to establish herself as a lifestyle mogul but now she's competing with a royal rival,” an unnamed source told New Idea Magazine.
In addition, King Charles has introduced a new men's fragrance called Highgrove Splash, which is priced at £135. This has caused the duchess to feel even more disheartened, since she had been "planning to develop her own men's grooming range."
"She had no idea [about this] and now suddenly, as she sees it, there's a glut of his products on the market. She's one step away from calling Charles about the clash but Prince Harry is holding her back,” the insider claimed.
As an additional point of interest, it was stated that Meghan is "convinced" that Highgrove's most recent promotion is a "deliberate attempt to curb her success."
As a result of their ongoing disagreement with the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not returned to the United Kingdom jointly since September 2022, when they went to the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth.
Prince Harry and Meghan were last spotted attending the ESPY awards in the United States last week, where Prince Harry was presented with the controversial Pat Tillman award for Service in recognition of the work he has made with the Invictus Games, PEOPLE reported.
Meghan Markle has yet to address the claims that she is upset by King Charles' product launch. So, avid followers of Prince Harry's wife should take all these unverified reports lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
