At a funeral for their late uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, Prince Harry and Prince William are likely to get back together, despite the fact that their rivalry has been going on for quite some time.

Following Robert's passing on July 29, at the age of 82, it is anticipated that both Prince Harry, who is 39 years old, and Prince William, who is 42 years old, will be present at his funeral.

In addition to his role as the late Queen Elizabeth's private secretary from 1990 until 1999, Robert was married to Jane Fellowes, who was the sister of Princess Diana. Jane Fellowes was born Spencer herself. Jane, who is 67 years old, has a strong bond with her nephews, and she even performed a reading during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in 2018.

“The death will be a huge blow to the Spencer family. In normal times it would be unimaginable that Harry would not be there to support Jane. Of course he would want to be there. It will be a huge gathering of the Spencer clan. But these are not normal times and it may well be that everyone feels Harry’s attendance would just create too much drama. It will be very sad for him if he can’t make it,” a former friend of Prince Harry’s told the Daily Beast.

However, representatives for Prince Harry have not confirmed what his plans are regarding Robert’s funeral.

Prince Harry and Prince William have been estranged since 2018 following the younger brother’s marriage to Meghan, 43. He detailed several of his conflicts with Prince William in his 2023 memoir Spare, which included a physical altercation over Meghan.

In light of their issues, Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down from their positions as senior working royals in January 2020 and they relocated to the United States.

“William and Harry aren’t even close to a truce. William hasn’t forgiven Harry for what he said in his book,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.

“But it eats away at him that he’s being treated like a pariah when all he tried to do was protect his family,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet, noting that Prince Harry has “put on a stoic face” amid his family’s drama.

Meanwhile, the tipster went on to say that Meghan has mentioned that the manner in which the royal family treats Prince Harry is the reason why she intended to leave the family. “She reminds him how unhappy he was in the U.K. and how they have so much to be grateful for now. She doesn’t spend a lot of time looking backward. She’s focused on the present and thinks he should be too,” it continued.

In a more recent statement, Christopher Andersen, the author of “The King,” asserted that Prince William had no intention of resolving his differences with Prince Harry, despite the fact that Princess Kate and King Charles III were battling cancer.

King Charles, who is 75 years old, disclosed his diagnosis in February, and Princess Kate, who is 42 years old, disclosed her struggle with her health in March.

“I have been saying this for months now – William pulled up the drawbridge and is not about to let it down for Harry anytime soon. William not only expects loyalty from his brother on a very personal level, but he commands respect as the heir to the throne,” Christopher, 75, told Fox News.
