Princess Kate, Princess of Wales, has had a difficult year, and the last thing she needs is to be concerned about her breakup with Prince William, Prince of Wales, being brought up again in the media.
The publication of a new biography that is revealing has resulted in the resurfacing of negative stories from the Princess Kate and Prince William’s past, which has caused them to feel embarrassed, a new report claimed.
“[Prince] William is doing what he can to shelter [Princess] Kate from the headlines. They’re trying to put a wall up, but it’s stressing them both out and dragging up old wounds that haven’t fully healed. The timing couldn’t be worse,” an unnamed source told New Idea Magazine.
While Robert Jobson was attending St. Andrews University in Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, he disclosed new information regarding the royal couple's brief separation.
During what was described as an "emotionally charged 30-minute conversation" in April of 2007, Prince William allegedly ended his relationship with Princess Kate over the phone. At the Mahiki nightclub in Mayfair, Prince William "celebrated their breakup with an alcohol-fueled night" to celebrate the situation. It is said that he cried out in a drunken manner, "I'm free!" at one point.
“The last thing [Prince] William and [Princess] Kate want to relive right now is that awful time when they broke-up. It was years ago but it’s still a sore point - especially for [Princess] Kate, who was the one that got dumped. She puts a brave spin on it because she’s very proud and would never like anyone to see her looking weak, but the truth is, it was very painful, and she still has a lot of bitterness towards [Prince] William for putting her through that,” the unidentified insider shared.
Princess Kate, who is 42 years old and a mother of three, is reportedly having conversations with royal advisers about how they can prevent something like this from occurring again, as per ABC News. This, in addition to the unverified reports that Prince William, who is 42 years old, had an affair, is all too much for her.
“Looking back, [Prince] William feels like jerk, so to have it rehashed again, especially when Kate’s battling cancer, is brutal,” the undisclosed informant stated.
