A growing number of high-level staff have defected, putting Meghan Markle's latest moneymaking enterprise in jeopardy and earning her a reputation as a boss from hell.

An unnamed source said that working with the 43-year-old meanie Meghan and her 40-year-old henpecked husband, Prince Harry, is difficult since they are both demanding and pampered.

“The brutal truth is Meghan and Harry are the toughest of taskmasters. They’re incredibly difficult to work for. The numbers don’t lie. To have almost 20 staffers quitting tells its own story. It’s unprecedented, even for a startup!” an anonymous insider told The National Enquirer.

The most recent executive to leave American Riviera Orchard was Chief of Staff Josh Kettler. Shortly before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to accompany them on their August "royal tour" of Colombia, he left without a word. The 45-year-old Kettler had only been an employee for around three months.

Rumor has it that Meghan Markle is still having trouble getting the business off the ground, despite the enthusiastic reception her new lifestyle brand received when it was revealed approximately six months ago, all because she can't seem to recruit or retain a CEO.

According to a high-ranking palace source who spoke to the entertainment news outlet, the royal family is aware of Meghan's track record of staff turnover.

“Meghan was accused of bullying during her brief time in the palace. She denied the allegations and called them a ‘calculated smear campaign.’ Queen Elizabeth ordered a formal investigation, but Meghan was never officially cleared, and Her Majesty decreed that the results of the probe would be kept secret,” the undisclosed informant told the tabloid.

In the short time after her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan became known for her haughty attitude and refusal to accept advice from anybody, alienating people on all levels. This was despite the fact that she only spent less than two years as a working royal. “It seems nothing has changed,” the tipster suggested.

There is a lengthy history of animosity between Meghan and her loved ones. Not only did she infamously accuse the royal family of racism and harshness, but she also allegedly ghosts people who are no longer helpful in achieving her goals. Thomas Markle, her 80-year-old father, had a heart attack and was abandoned following his attack.

“Not being able to keep staffers raises a worrying question. Are Meghan and Harry terrible at choosing employees, or is it a terrible work environment?” the mole stated.

Meanwhile, employees who left or were let off from the palace proudly referred to themselves as the Sussex Survivors Club! Samantha Cohen, a senior royal courtier and a longtime favorite of Queen Elizabeth's, says that she was eager to leave Meghan but stayed for over a year longer than planned due to the lack of a suitable replacement.

“What may be most telling is the entire time I worked there, I don’t think I heard a single current or former employee say they would take the job again if given the chance,” another spy stated.

Now that her lifestyle brand appears to be in jeopardy, Meghan finds herself without a chief executive officer. After teasing a rosé wine and sending jars of homemade strawberry jam and dog biscuits to select pals in March to launch the initiative, nothing has happened since then.

“Everything has apparently come to a grinding halt. She’s already filmed a cooking and gardening show for Netflix, but there’s still no air date!” the tattler said.

The Sussexes, meantime, are always staffing up with A-list public relations experts and executives.

“My guess is that Meghan doesn’t listen to anybody because she thinks she knows best. It’s a recipe for business disaster. Meghan and Harry need loyal aides to guide them, but the people they hire will only stay if the Sussexes are willing to listen. And listening to others doesn’t appear to be Meghan’s strong point!” the naysayer explained.
