This week, King Charles and Queen Camilla have been hard at work getting ready for their lengthy trip to Australia, which is scheduled to begin on October 18. Their royal tour is highly awaited worldwide.

It will be a visit jam-packed with activities, and the agenda will adhere to the routine typically associated with royal tours, according to 9News.

While in Sydney, the King and Queen will meet with Australians of the Year, while in Canberra, they will check in with lawmakers and even enjoy a community BBQ to get a sense of the country's cultural diversity.

Because he is undergoing cancer treatment, King Charles, who is 75 years old, has spent a significant portion of this year on a reduced schedule. As a result, it is understandable that he is keen to make the most of what may be his final tour of Australia.

On the other hand, New Idea Magazine has been informed that the Prince of Wales, the King's heir, is the person who is most concerned about the King's health. The Prince of Wales has asked his frail father to take it easy on his trips.

"Prince William has watched both his dad and his wife, Catherine, go through cancer treatment this year so it's no wonder he has a bit of anxiety around how his dad will cope with a gruelling trip to Australia," a source exclusively told the publication. "He knows he's being overprotective, but he's keen to ensure Charles is looking after himself."

His medical team has informed him that his health will be "prioritized" throughout the 11-day visit to Australia and Samoa; yet, the fact that the elderly king will be suspending his cancer treatment for over two weeks to finish the tour causes his closest ones to feel concerned, Live Mint reported.

In his characteristically generous manner, King Charles has been putting his health concerns aside to concentrate on putting his wife at ease, even though she has a long-standing dread of flying. She is swallowing her anxiety to get on the plane and be by her husband's side on official duty, making the over 50,000-kilometer round trip.

Camilla, who is 77 years old, is doing the same thing she did previously on their joint tour to Kenya, which took place the previous year.

"She knows it's part of her job to go all over the world and she will continue to do so," royal expert Jennie Bond explained. "I think it makes all the difference that Queen Camilla and the King are together on these flights and tours."
