King Charles III will not attend the annual COP climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, later this year. This news is said to be particularly reassuring for Queen Camilla, who has been monitoring the cancer-battling monarch's health "like a hawk."

As a result, a friend of royal couple shared, as per OK! Magazine, "Camilla will be pleased he is not going straight off to Azerbaijan. She didn’t particularly want him to go to Australia, and she will be encouraging him to take it easy once he gets back — never an easy task."

The King and Queen are scheduled to embark on their inaugural tour of the Commonwealth realm, commencing on October 18 in Australia, the official Buckingham Palace website stated. This voyage will mark the first time since Charles III assumed the monarch's role over two years ago.

On October 26, the King will preside over the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Samoa, concluding their travels.

It was recently disclosed that His Majesty "will continue with his ongoing cancer treatment right up until he flies," however, the physicians of the King are "happy for it to be briefly stopped while he is away" for 11 days.

Of course, many royal enthusiasts will find it difficult to refrain from drawing comparisons between Charles III's inaugural Australian voyage and that of his predecessor, Queen Elizabeth II, in 1954.

Cameron Walker, a royal correspondent, asserted that the late Queen Elizabeth traveled to every state and territory in Australia, as well as seven capital cities and seventy towns, in a span of 58 days, GB News reported. When compared to this, it is our understanding that the King will be in Australia for a period of time that is shorter than a week, and he will only be traveling to the cities of Sydney and Canberra.

He went on to say that the King had been given permission to travel by the medical professionals. It is going to be the first time that the King has traveled for an extended period of time since he was diagnosed with cancer.

On the other hand, the material that I have obtained this afternoon makes it abundantly evident that adjustments have been included. Initially, New Zealand was on the list of destinations that the King and Queen intended to visit; however, the decision to travel there has been rescinded due to the recommendation of the physician.

In light of the King and Queen's advanced ages of 75 and 76, respectively, Walker also noted, "Time has been factored in for the King to rest between engagements and between travel. Of course, it's a long way to go, halfway across the world, in order to keep his energy levels up on that tour."

According to a royal confidante, the absence of royal travel to Commonwealth realms since the King's accession to the throne has been "unfortunate and concerning. "

The insider went on to say that the only thing we have with the Crown is the previous reign to compare it to. Although it is a very different era, Elizabeth II's extensive excursions to her kingdoms in 1953 and 1954 are exactly what was required more than ever before.

Despite the fact that we cannot totally blame the King or Princess of Wales for contracting a terrible illness, the nonsense about the Crown being reduced in size needs to be lifted. "Commonwealth representation is vital," the insider concluded.
