An embarrassed Lady Gaga is ready to leave Hollywood after her musical film "Joker: Folie à Deux" was criticized by reviewers and some of her erstwhile fans, a new report claimed.

The 38-year-old "Bad Romance" singer was left red-faced after the big-budget "Joker" sequel failed to impress audiences. In the film, the 13-time Grammy winner plays the role of Harley Quinn, a psychiatrist who turns out to be a murderous moll. According to the spy, many of her sequences were removed from the final cut.

"She was not only irate, embarrassed and shocked over how most of her scenes were excised but also furious about how the songs were presented," a source spilled to The National Enquirer. "There were all these awkward shifts from violence and dread to upbeat, jazzy songs. It made her look foolish and inept."

One spectator referred to the musical parts, of which only one was genuinely written by Lady Gaga, as "pointless, low effort, and forgettable." In contrast, another viewer referred to the entire film as "dreck!" Audiences were not impressed with the production.

There are rumors that the "House of Gucci" girl is planning to take a sabbatical from the entertainment industry to concentrate on her musical career.

Someone who was a spy remarked that she required a wake-up call. The fact that she is a singer and songwriter first and an actor second is undeniable from her message.

Undoubtedly, she had several critically acclaimed films under her belt before this failure, but that does not make up for the humiliation she has caused. The impression that she gave was that of a novice.

Since it was first released in theaters on October 4, "Joker: Folie à Deux" has been a financial flop at the box office, The Guardian reported.

Up to this point, the sequel has earned approximately $51 million in the United States and $113 million in other countries through its international distribution. The production of the film cost a total of two hundred million dollars. According to Variety, Warner Bros. was left with a bill of one hundred million dollars for the film's promotion.

Because ticket sales are split between theater owners and studios, the outlet went on to state that for the film to achieve financial stability, it would have needed a total of $450 million in revenue.

It is not anticipated that “Joker: Folie à Deux” will be able to attain that exact number. Furthermore, according to the outlet, it is only expected to reach $215 million worldwide during its run, which is a far cry from what was reported.
