Angelina Jolie and son Knox reveal how they're helping loved ones in need as LA fires rage on

As the flames in Los Angeles continue to rage, Angelina Jolie and her son Knox, who is 16 years old, have stocked up on resources that are important for those who are in need.

On Thursday, witnesses saw the mother and boy shopping for a variety of items, including food and water bottles.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Jolie, who is 49 years old, expressed her deep worry for the situation and stated that she was providing shelter to individuals at her residence in Los Feliz.

"Right now I'm taking care of people close to me and having them at my house," she told the outlet.

During the upcoming weeks, the actress from "Maria" mentioned that she will also be contributing to the relief efforts for the fire victims.

Page Six reports that Jolie is not the only one who is motivated to take action. Together with her husband, Christopher Guest, Jamie Lee Curtis announced earlier this week that she would be contributing one million dollars to those who had been affected by the natural disaster.

Additionally, Kylie Jenner, Mark Zuckerberg, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have all given gifts to local relief organizations, although the amounts of these donations are unknown.

Some celebrities choose to make a financial contribution, while others choose to donate their time.

Jennifer Garner reportedly volunteered with a global relief group on Friday, helping to provide food to firefighters.

Chef José Andrés, whose non-profit, non-governmental organization World Central Kitchen has been supplying food for victims of the fire, joined the actress from "Elektra." World Central Kitchen has been providing meals for victims of the fire.

Those whose belongings were damaged also received donations of clothing in the form of bags from celebrities such as Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, Harry Hamlin, Michelle Pfeiffer, and others.

However, there are those celebrities who are experiencing the opposite side of the tragic circumstance, as they are struggling to come to terms with the loss of their homes.

A number of celebrities, including Mel Gibson, Adam Brody, and Leighton Meester, as well as Miles Teller, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, and others, have tragically lost everything they owned.

Since Tuesday, five large flames have been raging through the city of Los Angeles, annihilating approximately 30,000 acres of land and destroying over 10,000 buildings.

Wind gusts of up to 100 miles per hour contributed to the fire, which resulted in the evacuation of more than 100,000 individuals from the area. Reports indicate ten deaths on Friday.

The fires are already among the most destructive in the history of Los Angeles County since they began.

The officials, on the other hand, have stated that the firefighters "expect to gain significant containment" on the flames by Saturday.
