Treyarch has dropped a big update for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" Patch 1.07 on Xbox One (10.95GB) and on PlayStation 4 (9GB) with the PC update to be released later. When the sequel was released, it included three Zombies maps that are part of the improvements recently released alongside its Multiplayer, and Blackout.
For PC and consoles, a major update for the weapon balancing has also been released with the Swordfish and ABR 223 being polished to their recoil to support these types of weapons on the consoles, per Dexerto. Nuketown has also been added to PC and Xbox One with a dedicated Nuketown Featured Playlist that features 6v6 Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint in Nuketown.
Multiplayer also received huge improvements with the Care Packages' delivery speed being increased as well as a handful of updates on modes and challenges. Patch 1.07 also sees a fix to a spawn selection issue that didn't set to the Tac-Deploy by default as soon as it becomes available. After downloading the update, it will also show the adjusted costs of some Scorestreaks of which the developer recommended to check the selection menu to ensure that they are appropriately equipped.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" Patch 1.07 will also see a huge improvement in Blackout where Treyarch fixed the jittering screen when players move and change attachments or healing. They have also made the Bowie Knife available in Equipment Stashes that serves a random drop from taking down Zombies as well as a randomized item spawn in PS4's Zombies-themed location.
Zombies players also get crash and bug fixes in four maps in this update as well as UI improvements. According to the full patch note, the developers are currently working on more patches of the Zombies gameplay, which will be ruled out soon.
As for the PC update, the developers also noted that they rolled back the SMG balance as they did not sit well in the previous patch to "best suit the needs of [the] PC community, and taking it a step even further for the Spitfire." What's more is that the changes to the Swordfish and ABR 223 also apply to PC.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" is the first for the game that was launched in October 2018 without a usual single-player campaign mode, which received mixed reactions from fans. It was instead released with Solo Missions mode with the multiplayer characters' backstories as its focal point.
