Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's battle royale mode Blackout gets a free trial period!
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 free trial period for one week begins on Thursday, Jan. 17 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and ends on Jan. 24. The trial includes characters, locations, weapons, and gear from the paid base battle royale mode. As of now, it is not clear how players will obtain the trial. According to IGN, most likely, it will be a free download from each platform's respective storefronts.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's new 1.11 update includes the debut of Gauntlets and new elixirs in Zombies on PS4. Apart from that, newly featured playlists there will the addition of Elevation and Madagascar to map rotation for Black Ops Pass owners in multiplayer, a new console looting interface in Blackout, and more. These aforementioned updates will be coming to consoles and PC later this week.

On the thread, it includes the news about Treyarch 115 Day celebration in Zombies with 2XP, 2X weapon XP and 2X Nebulium plasma, in which actually has already started yesterday, Jan. 16 and will end on January 18 at 10 am PT on all platforms. There will be new elixirs that include perk up, refresh mint, and conflagration liquidation. Apart from that, there will elixir balance updates, adjustments to PhD slider and more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a new limited time mode called Down But Not Out. The new mode will introduce respawning to Blackout for the first time, Polygon reported. The limited time mode is squads-only and it allows anyone in the game to respawn every time the circle resets. What makes this mode sounds interesting is you only need at least one member from your squad has to be alive. With that, there is a chance you need to sacrifice yourself to keep a squad member alive.
What happens if you die during playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Down But Not Out mode? According to the game description, players who respawn will get a small basic loadout.
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 time mode is currently available or live on the PlayStation 4 version of Black Ops 4. There is no confirmation whether Treyarch will come to other platforms, but the PS4 version will be live from Jan. 16 until Jan. 30.
