Ever since word came out that Dean Ambrose will leave the WWE in April after Wrestlemania 35, most were clueless on where he would end up. Despite reportedly lucrative packages thrown the way of the Lunatic Fringe, Ambrose seemed deadest on leaving the wrestling promotion.

Of course, there were some who were not totally buying the idea. There are some who believe that Ambrose impending exit is part of an act – something the WWE has done in the past.

If not, there are some who suggest that he could be headed to the All Elite Wrestling group where some discarded but familiar WWE names have headed. There are other companies as well where Ambrose could take his act such as New Japan Pro Wrestling or even perhaps Lucha Underground. As one can see, the options are endless for Ambrose.

However, it seems that a new twist has developed in the case of Ambrose. According to the Barnburner podcast, there are no murmurs of the whole thing being nothing more than work.

Aside from that, Brad Sheppard claims that the WWE is going to try and dangle something to Dean Ambrose once again. If he does re-sign, it aligns with insinuations that Ambrose’s alleged exit from the WWE is nothing more than a storyline. If so, it hints at possibly seeing the 33-year-old actor/wrestler getting a character makeover.

For the benefit of those who may not know, Ambrose was also known as Jon Moxley from 2004 to 2011at an independent/ Indie circuit. Aside from that, he has also worked for various promotions such as Full Impact Pro (FIP), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA).

In the WWE, Ambrose is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a three-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time Tag Team champion. With a decorated list of achievements, it hardly makes sense for the Lunatic Fringe to walk away and scoff an offer (allegedly generous) from the WWE.

The true fate of Ambrose is likely to be known after Wrestlemania 35. There have been names in the past like Dolph Ziggler and Brock Lesnar rumored to be on the way out and yet they stay on. Curiously, it has been the WWE stars who have not announced their exit but would actually go on to leave the company.

Regardless, all eyes remain on Ambrose. Some have forgotten his exit at this stage, likely because some feel it may be nothing more than an act.
