Paris is it as the demon trackers head off to Europe. The Clave is on the trail of Will Tudor's Jonathan. While the situation is dangerous, the man who is also known as Sebastian has other plans especially for Katherine McNamara's Clary Fray in Shadowhunters Season 3 episode 12.
What makes the circumstance favorable to Jonathan is attributed to a couple of things. First, he knows where to track Fray. Second, only his sister can identify him. In a sense, Fray will probably become his cover. Shadowhunters Season 3 will likely heighten the pursuit of the elusive Clary.
In other developments, Simon Lewis, who is played by Alberto Rosende, is on a mission. With the help of Emeraude Toubia's Isabelle Lightwood, he intends to purge the Mark of Cain as he seeks out the oldest vampire in New York. On the other hand, Harry Shum Jr.'s Magnus Bane looks forward to enjoy life knowing his mortality stature.
Siblings Clary and Jonathan are in Paris for a reason. Fray is on the run while her brother is looking for a tool that will unlock the borders of hell. They head off to an antique store which is believed to have a powerful sword. It's quite surprising how their search will end up since Jonathan decides to end his life considering that the item is nowhere to be found.
Fray remains on the run but her evasiveness will shortly come to an end as her friends caught up with her. Dominic Sherwood's Jace Herondale, Isaiah Mustafa's Luke Graymark, and Matthew Daddario's Alec Lightwood have long been on her trail in Shadowhunters Season 3.
What happens in Paris will, somehow, test the mettle of the characters involved. Scenes may turn out to be interesting as mind tricks get in the way. Jonathan assumes Jace's identity in order to setup a reunion image with Fray.
With the Eiffel Tower in the background, the scenario may seem to be amorous as Clary gets emotional with Jace. As it turns out, Jonathan has mirrored the latter perfectly. Donning similar clothes and standing on the exact spot make the meet-up seemingly pristine.
The adventure that will make a splash is the one being pursued by Simon. He finds Cain, of all places, in a sewer. The latter hands him a rock which can be used to eliminate his mark. Apparently, the item is the one Cain used to kill Abel. How things will turn up remains to be seen but the focus should be if Simon can actually withstand the eradication of the brand in Shadowhunters Season 3 episode 12.
