Apple unveils its own game streaming service and they called it the Apple Arcade.

The special streaming event was indeed filled with surprises as Apple unveiled its 2019 list of innovations and surprises one after the other for their loyal customers. Probably one of the best revelations during the event was the unveiling of the Apple Arcade.

Apple Arcade gives a new face to the gaming industry as it surpasses the competitors' usual online game streaming. Apple's gaming subscription service gives access to game titles installed directly from the App Store. The downloaded and installed game can be accessed through the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. Accessing, playing and resuming a specific game can be done across devices.

Apple Arcade will officially be available through its hub, the App Store as it launches this fall. App Store users will notice the new tab appearing on the platform as a sign that Apple's new gaming subscription service is available and that browsing of Apple Arcade games is finally available. Apple assures its subscribers that there will be no annoying ads flashing on the screen as well the presence of microtransactions.

Initially, Apple Arcade will showcase a total of 100 new games for download. Subscribers can expect the increase in the game title list regularly. All the 100 initial games, as well as those added regularly, will be Apple Arcade exclusives although as of the moment the restriction only applies to Android users as titles such as Sayonara Wild Hearts are scheduled to be released for Nintendo prior to the Apple Arcade release.

Another feature to look forward to with the Apple Arcade is the parental controls which give adults the access to monitor and limit the kind of games that kids are indulging at. The tech giant gaming subscription service allows users to play even in the absence of an internet connection. However, exemptions apply to games with an online multiplayer component.

Apple did not disclose any detail on the monthly subscription fee for the Apple Arcade yet. They are however optimistic that with the one billion people who downloaded from the 350,000 games available on the App Store as of the moment; they could divert a percentage of them to be Apple Arcade subscribers.

When the Apple Arcade launches this fall, subscribers can choose from cool games such as Where Cards Fall, The Pathless, LEGO Brawls, Hot Lava, Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, Beyond a Steel Sky, Mr. Turtle and more.
