A recent rumor recently surfaced online suggesting that NVIDIA is working on developing a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card.
There is also a specification that surfaced which shows a slight modification in the main frequencies and overall specs of the graphics card compared to its predecessor. Moreover, in terms of performance, rumor has it that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card will have between 10 and 15 percent jump compared to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card.
Based on the latest rumor, the Delaware-based American tech company is currently developing a new graphics card for its Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 line up known as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card. From the product name, anyone can infer that the product will have the powerful TU105 GPU, which is much faster than the RTX 2070 and a bit slower than the RTX 2080.
Many tech analysts are currently speculating that this might be one of the products that the company was referring to when it previously teased about something SUPER.
The rumor also disclosed the technical specifications of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card. It will reportedly feature 2560 CUDA cores. This is a little over the 2034 CUDA cores of the RTX 2070 and a little closer to the 2944 CUDA Core of the RTX 2080. Additionally, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card will reportedly maintain the 14 Gbps and 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM with a clock boost of 1770 MHz.
The difference in performance would place the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card almost at par with the GTX 1070 Ti. While what the rumor is suggesting about the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card might be what NVIDIA intends to do in terms of price positioning, at the moment, it is hard to draw a conclusion since the speculations surrounding the SUPER lineup say otherwise.
It is speculated that the NVIDIA Super series will introduce a new set of variants in the lineup of the RTX 20 series but will have 16 Gbps GDDR6 chips, which is not the case with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card. Another is that the RTX series will drop around $100 from its original price to pave a way for the new cards.
As to what is true regarding the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Ti graphics card or whether it is really in the works, is still uncertain. As usual, this is just a rumor and in the coming days more details will slowly pile up that will confirm or debunk this rumor.
