The Los Angeles Lakers continue to negotiate with the New Orleans Pelican to get their star player Anthony Davis. And although the Pelicans now have new demands for the trade to commence, Lakers are willing to do anything to get Davis and after that, offer a maximum contract for Jimmy Butler to establish their big three with Lakers star Lebron James.

The results of the Lakers first year with LeBron has been disastrous. Add to that poor management and decision-making by the senior team and a number of player injuries resulted to Lakers not making it to the playoffs. Now the Lakers are determined to compete and opt for the ring, and with that, the team wants reinforcement immediately. A number of Lakers trade rumors have been in the news lately with Lakers wanting to build their big three by getting Anthony Davis in a trade and Jimmy Butler in the free market.

NBA trade rumors and various news sites reported that Lakers will do everything and willing to trade anyone out except Lebron and KCP just to get Davis. Everything points out to the Lakers winning this one. In one of his interview, Bobby Marks of ESPN even said he believes Davis will end up in Lakers as the star only wants to be transferred there or in Boston, but Boston has Kyrie Irving with them, and so Lakers will be his number one choice.

However, a new trade rumor reported that the New Orleans franchise has a new condition for the trade. David Griffin, executive vice president of operations of the Pelicans, wants an All-Star player, one with the potential to reach the All-Star Game, and two first rounds of the draft to trade Davis. This is something very difficult to achieve in a trade that will only involve the Lakers and Pelicans.

To achieve this, the Lakers would need a possible third team to make the transfer. Lakers have a young team, and they might need bigger names to trade for the Pelicans to be satisfied. Lakers are reportedly planning to send some of their young players to a third team, and this will give the Pelicans first rounds of the draft or a great player who can meet the expectations of the franchise.

This option seems complicated and is affecting the whole team. Today, Rajon Rondo gave a statement that most of the players in the franchise are affected by the trade issues. The atmosphere in the locker room feels like your mother or father doesn't love you. This is because every guy on the team idolizes Lebron, they have his shoes and his jersey growing up, but when they get there, it's like disappointing and like your parents or someone who you look up to doesn't love you.

Despite this, Lakers trade rumors reported that the Lakers are just persistent in getting Davis. The Pelicans center is a part of a bigger plan, which is to form Lakers big three that will be consist of Davis, Lebron, and Butler, which will soon be available in the free market.

The NBA free agent market will start on June 30. It would be one interesting market full of big stars that the Lakers can get and negotiate. One of the stars would be Jimmy Butler. The player of the Sixers will look for a maximum contract and, although his team can offer it, Butler has expressed his liking to go to the Lakers, and the team is interested with him as well. His performance in the playoffs was more than remarkable: a major factor in the face of Lakers' priority and short-term demand.
