It seems we already know how much the upcoming Ryzen 3000 CPUs and X570 motherboards cost, thanks to a leak online. This leak comes from Reddit user wazernet, who spotted what could be the pricing of AMD's new products.

According to comparison pages on the Danish website, the upcoming Ryzen 3000 CPUs may retail for the following prices:

  • AMD Ryzen 3 3200G - 899 DKK = $135

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3400G - 1399 DKK = $210

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 1849 DKK = $275

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600X - 2299 DKK = $345

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3700X - 2999 DKK = $450

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3800X - 3649 DKK = $550

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3900X - 4599 DKK = $690

The prices shown above are a result of a conversion from Danish Krones to US Dollars. Please note that the prices shown above factor in a 25% sales tax, and with the 25% tax removed, the product stack looks a bit different:

  • AMD Ryzen 3 3200G - $135 = $100

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3400G - $210 = $160

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - $275 = $205

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600X - $345 = $260

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3700X - $450 = $335

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3800X - $550 = $410

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3900X - $690 = $515

After removing the sales tax, the prices come out similarly to what has been reported in the past, and close to AMD's MSRP

For the past decade or more, AMD has been sitting in second place in the CPU wars. It's not for lack of trying, and the past two years of Ryzen processors have certainly shaken things up in the competition to deliver the best CPU.

Following a quick look at an unnamed Ryzen 3000 CPU at CES 2019, Lisa Su, AMD CEO, took to the stage at Computex in May, and revealed a trio of top-tier chips from the lineup. All three were set to release on July 7, to celebrate their use of the Zen 2 architecture based on a 7nm process.

Using the Zen 2 architecture and with a leading edge 7nm process technology courtesy of TSMC, this is the first time AMD has ever had a manufacturing node advantage over rival Intel. This is huge, and it gives AMD a legitimate shot at the CPU throne.

The Ryzen 3000 series chips come with a radical new design, but luckily for us, the chips will work with many of the optimizations for existing Ryzen processors. AMD's move to producing 7nm chips in volume before Intel can counter with its own 10nm shrink could serve a huge blow to Team Blue, especially if AMD can also pull it off sooner.
