A spokesperson for CD Projekt Red has revealed the PC specifications of the setup that ran the Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2019 demo. CD Projekt Red showed off a behind-closed-doors Cyberpunk 2077 demo at this year's E3 event, and as reported by Spieltimes, a representative of the studio has released some additional details about the setup that was used to run the demo.

CPU: Intel i7-8700K @ 3.70 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMING
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V, 2x16GB, 3000MHz, CL15
GPU: Titan RTX
SSD: Samsung 960 Pro 512 GB M.2 PCIe
PSU: Corsair SF600 600W
The Intel i7-8700K CPU is a scary start, but what's shocking is the 32GB of RAM and the NVIDIA Titan RTX Graphics card (which will set you back about $2,000 by itself). That's all accompanied by a 512 GB Samsung 960 SSD, a 600W Corsair PSU, and an ASUS Motherboard.
If you were to build a brand-new rig based on those parts, it will cost you a whopping $4,000, possibly more.
Additionally, NVIDIA and CD Projekt Red officially confirmed that the action-RPG will support RTX Ray Tracing. So those who have bought a GeForce RTX card will be able to enjoy realistic lighting and other ray tracing bells and whistles - and maybe even other GPUs, theoretically, although the dedicated RT cores will doubtless be needed to ensure the game runs smoothly.
Whether or not Cyberpunk 2077 will also get DLSS support isn't clear, but many gamers will be hopeful that this is the case, in order to help the title run smoothly on RTX GPUs if ray tracing is switched on.
Further details weren't announced, but based on an E3 Demo impression from PCGamesN, Cyberpunk 2077 uses NVIDIA's Ray Tracing tech for ray traced ambient occlusion and diffused illumination. According to PCGamesN, ambient occlusion is less impactful than diffused illumination in Cyberpunk 2077 with the former only adding a bit more depth to the scene.
While E3 2019 only showcased a cinematic trailer, another preview of a newer Cyberpunk 2077 build is planned for Gamescom later this year. It'll most likely be the last one before Cyberpunk officially releases in April next year.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One starting April 16th, 2020.
