Freddie Roach has been the brawns and behind Manny Pacquiao ever since he was just starting to make a name in the boxing arena. One can say that the multi-awarded coach knows the Filipino boxer like the back of his hand. In one of his recent interviews, Roach said that he is confident Pacquiao is going to beat his younger and undefeated opponent.

Both Manny Pacquiao's and Keith "One Time" Thurman's camp are intensively conditioning their fighters for their scheduled pay per view fight on July 20 at Las Vegas. The 40 years old Filipino boxer, is under the care of Justine Fortune and Freddie Roach. Roach, having known the boxer for a long time, said that Pacquiao will beat Thurman because he is now slowing down.

Roach revealed that he has been studying the previous fights of One Time and he noted that the American boxer had shown signs that his speed is slowing down. The former boxer and now a world-renowned coach acknowledged that Thurman is a good fighter. But, he underlined that One Time has faded a little bit.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, is really fresh and on top of his game according to Roach contrasting the two fighters. He also dismissed the publics' fear that the Filipino fighter is much older than his opponent. Roach said that age doesn't matter.

Freddie Roach is now back and once again in charge of Pacquiao's camp. He admitted that this time, he wore his chest protector and gave his protégée six rounds of hand work. He disclosed that he gave it up for two years because he peed blood when he got hit, and it made him very tired too.

However, Roach said that he is wearing it again to bring out the best, if not, the better version of Manny Pacquaio. This is another reason why Freddie Roach thinks The Pac-man will defeat the unbeaten Keith Thurman when they fight on July 20 for the WBA Welterweight belt. Before Freddie Roach' eyes the fight will go down between the 30 years old undefeated but slowing down boxer and the 40 years old but still a fresh and seasoned boxer.

It appears that Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach are back to their normal routine once again. It can be recalled that there was a brief rift between the two partners. Pacquiao has now trimmed down his eight weeks training to only six weeks so he does not burn out quickly. As for Freddie Roach, he said that he is willing to sacrifice his body, even if it means urinating blood, just to bring out the better Pac-man.
