Lotus remains silent about the features of its latest Type 130 electric hypercar, but has now officially named the car "Evija." The name means "the first in existence" or "the living one" representing Lotus traditions. The company is known to produce cars with names starting with E like Esprit, Elise, and Exige.
Participants of the Goodwood Festival of Speed are scheduled for a sneak to peek at the electric hypercar through a light show. On Wednesday, Lotus confirmed that the electric hypercar would be known as Evija. The unique name of the car proves that it will be far from the usual vehicles made by the company. Reports said that the new car is expected to run at more than 1,000 horsepower and offer a range between charges of about 250 miles.

He added that it would re-establish our brand on the global automotive stage and pave the way for further visionary models.
