Jeremy Lin is still a free agent despite being a member of the team that won the NBA championship last season. The veteran point guard who is behind the media phenomenon Linsanity was recently emotional and spoke about hitting rock bottom. But, it seems that outside NBA many people still value Lin's talent including Nate Robinson, who is inviting him to be on The Big3 and the Russian team CSKA Moscow who also wants him to play for them.
This Summer, Jeremy Lin was in a festive mood after his team, the Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship ring. However, things seemed to go downhill after that. Lin is now a free agent and appears to be despairing of another chance to play in the league when he recently spoke about hitting rock bottom. Nate Robinson, the former NBA point guard, was quick to offer an invitation to his fellow point guard to join the Big 3 League.
According to the former NBA point guard, he also felt that the league gave up on him, but it is not over, says Robinson. He adds that Lin should come to the Big 4 League because the league accepts those that the NBA does not want. Although Jeremy Lin is from a season wherein his team won the championship ring, he only averaged 3.4 minutes in his eight appearances during the playoffs and 2.4 rebounds, 9.6 points, and 3.1 assists during the regular season.
In his speech at Good TV, Jeremy Lin shared that the term rock bottom is just getting more and more rock bottom for him. He added that the NBA free agency has been so far tough for him especially that he felt that the league kind of already given up on him. But, another article from Emiliano Carchia of Sportando revealed that the Linsanity star is the target of the CSKA Mosco, the Russian team and the reigning VTB League and EuroLeague champion.
According to the report, the team is currently finalizing their roster for the upcoming season, and they are offering a spot for Jeremy Lin on their team, who is currently a free agent. CSKA Moscow has already made a deal with an NBA veteran according to a report. In fact, it claims that the agreement with Dragan Bender is already in place unless bender would find an NBA team and change his mind.
Jeremy Lin is born in California to Taiwanese parents. He is the face behind the Linsanity media frenzy and is the first Asian American to win an NBA championship title.
