The Redmond-based tech giant rolls out today Windows 10 2020 Preview Build 1895. Also, Microsoft releases the Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 18950 that developers can access. These latest builds are loaded with several bug fixes and general enhancements.

The Microsoft Windows 10 Build 18950 ISO files introduce references to the Cloud Download feature and deliver multiple bug fixes and general enhancements. Additionally, users can download the Windows 10 Build 18950 ISO files now from Windows Insider site. But, first, you have to enroll in the Windows Insider Program before you would be able to download these Windows 10 ISO files.

The Redmond-based Windows maker is at present testing builds for the upcoming Microsoft Windows 10 19H2 and the Windows 10 20H1. The latter promises to bring massive upgrade on the build's feature and introduce improvements and new features to the operating system. The upcoming update of Windows 10 expected to arrive on October 2019 will be released as a cumulative update and will not offer any major features.

This certain Windows 10 build is currently being tested by Insiders in the Slow ring while the Fast ring concentrates on the development of the Windows 10 20H1. Aside from this, a new SDK preview is also available starting today. This matches the most recent release of the Insider Fast ring. The new Windows 10 SDK preview is released by Microsoft so developers can try it out.

The latest release is called the Microsoft Windows 10 SDK Build 18950. This builds introduces tools, updates, and breaking changes. The tools update allows users to be able to detect the Unicode byte order mark otherwise known as BOM in .mc files. In other words, if the .mc file begins with a UTF-8 BOM, it will be read as a UTF-8 file. But, if it begins with a UTF-16LE BOM, it will be read as a UTF-16LE file.

The Microsoft Windows 10 SDK Build 18950 also brings breaking changes where the irprops.lib has already been removed from the SDK. Apps linked against the irprops.lib can easily switch to bthprops.lib in the form of a drop-in replacement. There are also some API updates and removals in addition to these changes and updates.
