Tottenham Hotspur is hoping to beat the Arsenal FC to inking a deal with Philippe Coutinho by saying yes to Barcelona FC's loan offer. But it appears that it is not only the Arsenal and the Hotspur that are interested with the star. Other teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool are also keen on the transfer.

Philippe Coutinho, the 27-year-old star is available for transfer after an 18-month stint in Spain. Barcelona is also open on loaning Philippe this coming season. The Times recently reports that Barcelona is actually considering receiving a £21m hefty fee for loaning him out but interested teams will have to shoulder for his weekly wage amounting to around £200,000.

Hotspur is on the lookout for a midfielder since they are considering selling Christian Eriksen this month and have been linked with Giovani Lo Celso of Real Betis and Bruno Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon all through the summer. The La Liga team has already agreed to allow the playmaker to leave and several sources within the team say that an official bid to bring Philippe Coutinho who used to play for Espanyol's Mauricio Pochettino back to the Premier League on loan has already been decided.

Philippe Coutinho is also eager to go back to where he started and became a world star, with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool also keen. Philippe formerly lit up the Premier League with a series of stunning Liverpool displays. As a result, he was able to bag a £142million transfer to Barcelona in 2018.

The transfer window will close at 5 pm on Thursday, and the English quartet has until that time to complete the move. Philippe Coutinho's move to Tottenham Hotspur will most likely signal the exit of Christian Eriksen with Dane associated with Man United. It was under Pochettino at the time of Philippe Coutinho's short stint on loan in 2012 where he started showing off his quick feet and skill that has since had the best defenders in the world perplexed.

Philippe Coutinho joined the Liverpool in 2013 from Inter for a bargain amount of £8.5m. In his 201 games with the team, he scored 54 goals most of them were stunners. This amazing showcase of talent cemented his position as an important part of the side that barely missed out on Premier League victory in 2014.

Meanwhile, the Arsenal has been recently active and have inked a deal with Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos. A move for Philippe Coutinho would most likely end the hope of Zaha being a part of the Crystal Palace.
