David Luiz is at the center of the spotlight at the moment. There were reports claiming that he is no longer happy with Chelsea and is reportedly looking into transferring to Arsenal. Earlier today, Chelsea's Frank Lampard banished Luiz from the team's first training while Unai Emery speaks out about Luiz and the team in the heat of all the speculations.

Recent reports claim that David Luiz trained away from the rest of Chelsea's first-team squad this Wednesday and is now thinking about his future amid talks about Arsenal FC being interested with him. Chelsea's Frank Lampard stopped David Luiz from training amidst several concerns that the Brazilian player has started to become a disruptive influence. Luiz was one of the senior players of Chelsea to encourage Maurizio Sarri to be granted an extra season at Stamford Bridge after the Italian player headed success on Champions League qualifier and Europa League.

David Luiz has spoken positively about the effect of Lampard returning to the team and acting as its manager even after Sarri's dismissal. However, several reports claim that the relationship between Luiz and Lampard is fast deteriorating. This is evidenced by Luiz' training away from the entire Chelsea first team before the Premier League opener; where they are scheduled to face the Manchester United on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's Unai Emery admits that the team's first choice targets in terms of defensive transfer were out of the team's price range as he intends to get David Luiz before the deadline. The team missed out the qualification of the Champions League last season mainly because of their error-prone defense. This resulted to 51 shipped goals during the Premier League and yielded in the Europa League finals when they were up against Chelsea.

Earlier this month, Unai Emery approved the purchase of Nicolas Pepe and included Gabriel Martinelli and Dani Ceballos to an already outstanding roster of attackers. The Spaniards, however, has grown weary of Emery's attempts to include to the team's rearguard Dayot Upamecano, Kieran Tierney, and Daniele Rugani which proves to be quite expensive.

Arsenal's Unai Emery is at the end of his tether to get a center-half for his squad after team captain Laurent Koscielny declined the offer and moved to Bordeaux. The team, despite being priced out of moves for Dayot Upamecano and Daniele Rugani, is expected to make an attempt to get David Luiz from Chelsea before the summer window ends.
