Because of the unbelievable success of "Dragon Ball" in Manga in anime, several games were released allowing players to relive and recreate the scenes in the series. But, since the announcement of the new upcoming game dubbed as "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot," many things were promised to the fans. According to Bandai Namco Entertainment, this time, it will be an open-world RPG title that will tell the story of the fan-favorite character Son Goku during his younger years on Earth.
While "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" is yet to be released, fans are excited to see what the upcoming game has to offer to them. A new report courtesy of the reliable tipster and translator Ken Xyro revealed that there are new confirmed playable characters in the upcoming RPG title. Surprisingly, there are also brand new characters that will be released in the game that fans have not yet heard or in manga or in the anime version of "Dragon Ball."
Originally called "Project Z," "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" will have Teen Gohan and Trunks as playable characters. The MVP of the recently concluded Tournament of Power in "Dragon Ball Super" Android 17 is also confirmed to appear in the upcoming RPG title. Ken Xyro also mentioned a brand new character named Bonyu who will be on the game.
According to Ken Xyro, Bonyu came from the same planet as Jeice and was a member of the Ginyu force. So far, we do not know the role of this brand new and original character in "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot yet." But, it is interesting to learn that the team behind the upcoming game is adding original stories and characters as previously promised.
