Earlier today at the Gamescom episode of Inside Xbox broadcasted live from Cologne in Germany. Microsoft shared some of the biggest upcoming video games and announced several other surprises for Xbox gamers. The Redmond-based tech titan also showcased some of the latest enhancements to several titles, introduced new accessories, and so much more.

The Gamescom 2019 marked a great day for Xbox Game Pass with eight new titles announced. This includes three massive video games that will be available starting today. "Devil May Cry 5" along with "Stellaris: Console Edition" are coming on Xbox Game Pass while the "Age of Empires: Definitive Edition" is now available on PC.

On August 22, "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" and "Ape Out" will be added and on August 27, "Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut" will join the list. A free new level will be released to "Humans Fall Flat" on both console and PC on August 27 while the "Blair Witch" will be included in the Xbox Game Pass on the console and PC when it officially releases on August 30.

"Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition" will be officially released on both Microsoft Store and Steam on November 14. The game integrates better AI, several enhancements, and 4K graphics including four latest factions. Players who own the HD version of the game on Steam will receive the new version at a discounted price.

On August 22, "Gears Pop!" will be released on Windows 10, iOS, and Android. The "Gears of War," which is a PvP strategy title was announced during E3 2018 as one of the new spin-offs the other is the "Gears tactics" inspired by "Xcom." During the event, British actor Idris Elba was revealed to be in the career mode of the "NBA 2K20" along with Rosario Dawson and several other big names in the entertainment industry.

Tom Clancy's "Ghost Recon Breakpoint" multiplayer mode dubbed as "Ghost War" announced that it will feature eight players fighting against each other in a couple of teams of four. They will vie for the maps that seem to have storms closing in around them just like a battle royale game. The new model will have its own dedicated servers.

The popular game battle royale game "PUBG" will have cross-play between Xbox One and PlayStation 4 made possible through an update that will be released in October. During the event, a couple of new Xbox One controller designs called Night Ox in camouflage and Sport Blue with a subtle geometric pattern of the fins were also announced. "Empire of Sin" was also announced officially releasing on Spring of 2020.

Microsoft also announced that it will be holding a fan event in London on November 14 called X019 that will feature Xbox CEO Phil Spencer and several other members of the Xbox team. The event ended with Microsoft showing off the horde mode of "Gears of War 5."
