A report from Libero claims that Inter Milan are preparing to offer Lazio a total of €75 million to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on loan. The Italian club will reportedly pay €15 million upfront with an option to buy the midfielder for €60 million.

The publication did not state Lazio's stance about the offer, simply indicating they were waiting for Inter to approach them officially.

Milinkovic-Savic scored seven goals for Simone Inzaghi's side last season as they finished eighth in Serie A and won the Coppa Italia.

What's more likely to happen is Inter signing Alexis Sanchez, who is reportedly about to undergo a medical examination at some point this week. There's a possibility that the forward will arrive alongside former Chile teammate Arturo Vidal, who is reportedly open to accepting an offer and reunite with Antonio Conte.

Although, Vidal is understood to be only an alternative option to Milinkovic-Savic, but Beppe Marrota is reportedly hoping of securing a move for the Serbian.

There are outgoing deals planned for Inter as well, with Joao Mario looking to move for Monaco and Dalbert almost making his way to Nice. As for Mauro Icardi, it seems he has no plans of leaving, after rejecting offers from both Napoli and Monaco.

Milinkovic-Savic has said previously that his focus is now at Lazio after a planned move to Manchester United fell through. According to Football Italia, Paris Saint-Germain had been interested in signing the player, while United reportedly prepared a €90 million offer.

"The Premier League transfer window is shut, so the Manchester United story is finished," Milinkovic-Savic told Serbian outlet Espreso. "I wasn't irritated by everything that was written in the papers, because my mind was concentrated on preparing for the new season in the best possible way."

Lazio president Claudio Lotito also said that the club had not been given any notable offers for the 24-year-old.

United saw Ander Herrera head to PSG on a free transfer this summer, while Paul Pogba's future has been the subject of much speculation, but the deadline for them to sign new players passed on Thursday without them adding to their midfield options.

Some football plans believe that Milinkovic-Savic would work great with Man Utd. He was assigned in a more defensive role than usual last season, the reason why his goal and assist totals hadn't been impressive, from 14 goals down to seven, and 7 assists to 3.
