The Apple iPhone 11 series has been the favorite subject of rumors and speculations online. In fact, with the number of leaks and rumors, almost all the specs and configurations have already been leaked. But, a new report from Bloomberg reveals the upgrades and enhancements of Apple iPhone 11, and it seems that it is not good news for fans of the much-awaited Apple flagship smartphone.
Bloomberg recently published an exclusive report about the products that Apple will announce and release this year. The report is comprehensive and gives details on the complete picture of future Apple announcements. Additionally, the report shares interesting details about the iPhone 11, which the Cupertino-based tech titan surely would want to keep hidden until the official unveiling.
The report shares that Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 11 series in an event in September. The tech titan is also planning to unveil the refreshed versions of the iPad Pro along with a new entry-level iPad with a bigger screen, and new versions of Apple Watch. The iPad Pro, according to the report, will have upgraded cameras and faster SoCs.
The refreshed version will have upgraded audio accessories such as the HomePod speaker and the AirPod. Moreover, Apple will debut three new iPhones and will most likely go on sale in September to contribute to the company's fourth-quarter fiscal sales. The Cupertino-based tech giant is also banking on the combination of new software, new hardware, and new services to drive the company's revenue higher after its miss at the end of 2018.
While the reports sound interesting, all of these were already revealed in earlier reports from various tech sites online. But, the exclusive report from Bloomberg underlines the biggest omission from the whole Apple iPhone 11 series; the 5G technology. It is surprising that Apple has no smartphone or iPhone variant that will be released with 5G.
Rival smartphone makers have already embraced that next-generation standard and even released several models with 5G technology. According to the report, Apple will release 5G smartphones in its 2020 iPhones. The report also confirms that the 3D camera will not be in the upcoming iPhone 11 series but will be present in the 2020 iPhone models.
Despite these setbacks, Apple will not let the iPhone 11 series to be a below-average smartphone. There might be more interesting details that the company is keeping away from the prying public. With September drawing near, more of these reports and leaks about iPhone 11 will surface online.
