Mauro Icardi beats the deadline of the transfer window today and agrees to transfer to Paris Saint Germain on loan with an option to buy for €70 million. According to reports, the Argentina striker finally decides to leave Inter Milan, the team that made it very clear that they no longer want him with at the team. The 26-year-old footballer is expected to leave Milan at 3 PM and arrive at 5 PM in France with the transfer window for Ligue 1 closing at 11 PM.

Along with the deal with Paris Saint Germain, Mauro Icardi also agrees to sign a new contract with Inter Milan. Most likely, this is to make sure that the team can still sell for a significant price should the League 1 champions decide in the future not to permanently sign him. Icardi has been the most powerful attacker of Inter for the past five seasons.

However, half-way through the previous season, he found himself without a team following a falling out with Luciano Spalletti. The appointment of Conte has not helped Mauro Icardi as he was intent to sell the Argentina striker and has even brought in Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to be his replacements. Earlier, Icardi wanted to transfer to Juventus; however, Nerazzurri did not want to sell the footballer to their rival teams.

Mauro Icardi's move might also give a clue about Neymar finally leaving Paris Saint Germain. The Brazilian star has the same issues-particularly in finding a team that could meet the price set by his current team. Icardi moved to Inter Milan in 2013 where he immediately made himself the team's main striker.

Mauro Icardi could have been Inter's team captain, however off the pitch issues seemed to have contributed to his exile from the team. Meanwhile, Icardi's wife and agent Wanda Nara revealed that there are two teams interested in Inter's striker. In a report by Goal, Nara shared that he will be working until the end of the transfer window.

The Nerazzurri has been trying to offload Mauro Icardi and he missed 10 games in the past season when he was stripped of his captaincy last February. During the 2014-2015 Serie A season, Icardi has made 102 goals, a feat, no any other player has made. Latest reports claim that the Argentina striker is now in Milan and has already passed his medical examination and has signed his contract to make his move to PSG official.
