West Ham midfielder Declan Rice shares his thoughts on why he is against joining Manchester United. According to the 20-years-old footballer, he thinks he is good enough to be a part of the Old Trafford but shares that now is not the right time to leave West Ham yet. Rice was on the summer shortlist of Red Devils' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but West Ham declined to sell the midfielder.

Declan Rice feels that at this point, it is too early in his career to go for a transfer or to play for Manchester United. According to Rice, he thinks he got what it takes to be a part of the Red Devils' squad but now is just not the right time and that he has still a lot to learn. Earlier speculations claim that the 20-years-old midfielder was not promoted by his current team despite his efforts and performance.

But, Declan rice shares that he loves playing for West Ham, particular the connection that he has established with fans. He also reveals that the supervisor likes him, and he is one of the players with the top following. The midfielder recently inked a long-term deal with West Ham.

He says that he is staying at West Ham for the next succeeding years. Declan Rice also shares that he wishes to be called a West Ham legend and that achieving it would be a real honor. Meanwhile, Gary Neville says Declan Rice should not be permitted to play for England. The ex-England full-back called out the decision of letting the west Ham midfielder switch to the Three Lions. According to Neville, the country is all about emotion and even called out FIFA and UEFA to eradicate this kind of practice and enforce tougher rules. During the Cadbury Premier League Partnership in Dublin, Neville was quoted saying that he heard good things about Declan Rice, but he just thinks that a player should not be permitted to play for his country's senior team and move to another team.

Neville says that for him, the practice does not feel right. It can be recalled that Declan Rice was among the most rumored names in the league last February. It was during this time that he switched to England even though he played for the Republic of Ireland at youth level prior to making three senior appearances in friendlies.
