OnePlus announced recently the launch date of its latest flagship smartphone killer, the OnePlus 7T series. The highly anticipated smartphone series will be revealed on September 26 simultaneously in North America and in India. The Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer is also planning to hold another event on October 10 in London teasing that there is more to come.
OnePlus is anticipated to launch the OnePlus 7T series consists of OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. These smartphones will serve as follow-up devices to a couple of smartphones released by the company earlier in 2019. The Shenzhen-based smartphone maker announced the upcoming event on its official Twitter account.
The official homepage of OnePlus contains more details of the upcoming September event. The launching will begin at 19:30 AM ET of at 7:30 AM PT on September 26. It also hints about 90Hz display, which obviously refers to the refresh rate of the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.
Chief Executive Officer and Founder Pete Lau confirmed in the early part of September that the new OnePlus 7T series would be much more affordable compared to OnePlus 7 Pro. The CEO also hinted about the much-awaited OnePlus TV earlier in September. On his official Twitter account, he shared the first-ever image of the remote control of its very own TV, which has a striking resemblance to that of Apple TV's remote.
The invitation to the upcoming OnePlus 7T series event does not reveal many details about what the consumer can expect aside from suggesting that the 90Hz display is coming back after it was launched in OnePlus 7 Pro. It is worth noting that the non-Pro version of OnePlus 7 has no high-end display. This triggered speculations that consumers can expect the 90 Hz display on both OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.
The upcoming OnePlus 7T series according to rumors will have a modest enhancement. This includes a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, a small change in the battery from 4000 mAh to 4500 mAh in the OnePlus 7t Pro and from 3700 mAh to 3800 mAh in the base model, OnePlus 7T.

OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 7 Pro in May 2019. These budget-friendly smartphones are dubbed flagship killers because of their prowess and great display at an unbelievably lower retail price compared to other smartphone devices. So far, there is no word yet in regards to the retail price of OnePlus 7T and OnePLus 7T Pro.
