Fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC release know that "Bonaire" was heavily linked to the upcoming PC port of the game. However, it appears that more pieces of evidence are recently uncovered suggesting that Rockstar Games is preparing for the PC release of the sequel to its popular cowboy-themed video game series. The Australian Classification Board recently gave a refused classification rating to "Red Dead Redemption 2."
Last August 20, the International Age Rating Coalition filed for classification to the Australian Classifications Board for the game titled "Bonaire." Way back, many assumed that it could be the PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2." However, upon further digging made by fans, it appeared that the ACB denied the classification for the application simply because there is no game titled "Bonaire."
Later, Rockstar Games filed for classification but this time for "Red Dead Redemption 2." But, it is interesting to note that the application was again denied. The strange thing about this application is that Rockstar Games is trying to obtain ratings in Australia for a game that was already released. This, triggered fans to speculate that the latest application could be the heavily rumored "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC version.
To add fuel to the fire, this is not the first instance that Rockstar Games has filed for the PC version of its titles. The game developer did the same to "GTA 5" which cost them three applications for classification; one for the previous gaming console generations, one for the current console generations and one for the PC version of the game.
Earlier rumors suggested that "Bonaire" could be the additional DLC for "Red Dead Redemption 2." According to a report, the application for "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC version may include a zombie-themed expansion, which could be the reason why it was refused of classification by the ACB. Regardless of whether or not the claims mentioned above are true, it is appearing more and more likely that the PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is on its way.
Aside from the data mined files containing the PC setting of "Red Dead Redemption 2," the recent announcement of Rockstar Games PC Launcher could be the biggest hint that we have so far. The launcher will allow all Rockstar Games to be available on PC, making the PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2," among other Rockstar Games a juicy proposition to expectant gamers.
