"The Last of Us: Part 2" is one of the most-awaited sequels in the gaming world today. Fans have long been talking about the popular sequel to the successful title even before Naughty Dog announced the project. Recently, more leaks surrounding "The Last of Us: Part 2" surfaced online including the release date and Dina's bracelet.

"The Last of Us: Part 2" will be showcased during the State of Play. Fans are expecting that a new trailer will be released, but so far, it is hard to conclude what to expect from Naughty Dog. On its official Twitter account, the game developer dropped another clue about the upcoming game which shows Dina's bracelet and the texts stating that they should be terrified of you.

To those uninitiated, Dina is the girl shown dancing with Ellie in "The Last of Us: Part 2" trailer that was revealed during the E3 2018 event. Interestingly, the trailer also contains the same line as the most recent tweet from the game developer. Several fans suggested that the same bracelet was on Ellie's hand when she killed different foes, which could mean a lucky charm.

The tweet nags different questions like, is it a hint about Dina's grim fate? Or, is Ellie going out on "The Last of Us: Part 2" to avenge her death? Apparently, these theories make sense considering that the theme of the upcoming sequel is Hate. Along with the State of Play is three-hour hands-on gameplay for the media. Meanwhile, the release date of "The Last of Us: Part 2" started circulating once again. The latest claim is that fans might not be able to get their hands on the much-awaited sequel this year. This information came from a recent German retailer's listing. Softridge's listing has been up for quite some time now but only a few outlets were able to pick it up a few months ago. The listing claimed that "The Last of Us: Part 2" will be released on February 2, 2020. It comes with the images of the games Collector's edition and Special Edition providing further pieces of evidence to the legitimacy of the post. But, the February 2020 release date has been making rounds for quite some time now. Apparently, Naughty Dog and Sony pushed the release date of the highly anticipated sequel to give way to the release of another PlayStation-exclusive title, "Death Stranding" in the holiday of 2019.

Just like all other leaks, we advise you to take these details with skepticism and with a barrel of salt. "The Last of Us: Part 2" is anticipated to release on Sony's next-generation console but will be available to PlayStation 4 users through backward compatibility.
