Xiaomi is reportedly developing a futuristic flagship smartphone. If the latest claims are accurate, it appears that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is going to be an insane smartphone releasing soon. So far, several details surfaced online about the upcoming smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker, and it appears that it has advanced specs and features that will beat the current flagship smartphones in the market.
According to reports, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will have a screen wrapping all around its body without any notches or edges. Additionally, the device will sport a 100-megapixel shooter. Gizmochina reports that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha can shoot images at 12032 x 9024 pixels, equivalent to a whopping 40 megabytes per image.
The report also claims that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will have 1 terabyte of internal storage and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with 12 GB of RAM. The upcoming flagship smartphone from Xiaomi is also rumored to have the camera sensor, ISOCELL Bright HMX that Samsung developed. It can be recalled that Samsung and Xiaomi collaborated on this project.
This ISOCELL Bright HMX features 108 megapixels and supports pixel clustering, just like its 64 MP sibling, to boost light sensitiveness. Aside from this, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an insane never before seen design. Instead of following the latest waterfall display design, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will reportedly feature 1440p display that bends all through the back of the device.
Allegedly, the upcoming flagship phone will sport a couple of thin symmetrical lines both on top and at the bottom to house the microphones and the speakers. These details were earlier confirmed in the teaser poster released by Xiaomi a week ago. The phone will have no edges and no buttons on the sides. Reputable leakster IceUniverse also shared the renders of the upcoming device which shows no selfie camera notch.
This triggers speculations that the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will have invisible selfie cameras that are concealed under the display. The company has been working on this kind of technology for quite some time already and has already shown a working model. Considering the details from the internal presentation, this might be the case for the upcoming smartphone, which might come with a Face ID-like hidden camera and hidden fingerprint sensor.
Apart from the leaked image coming from Xiaomi, some of the details are just rumors. In other words, they are not yet official or confirmed specs and features of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha. This means that these details must be taken with a barrel of salt and with great skepticism.
