Manchester United spent around £150million last summer transfer window to acquire Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, and Daniel James. It appears that despite the spending spree, Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are still preparing for a massive winder spending spree. According to a report, the key decision-makers at Manchester United are eyeing Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.
Daily Mail recently reported that Manchester United scouts are monitoring Moussa Dembele. The 23 years old French footballer has made a name in the football world and won six trophies in three seasons in Scotland with Celtic. Earlier speculations linked the former Fulham forward as the replacement of Romelu Lukaku who left the Old Trafford last August and joined Inter Milan.
Moussa Dembele has made 20 goals out of 37 league appearances in his country which includes playing four out of five seasons. Aside from Manchester United, the Lyon striker was also linked to Chelsea and Arsenal. However, it was Manchester who sent scouts to see the Frenchman in action.

Supposing that Moussa Dembele joins Manchester United and become a part of the team in the second half of the season, he could help deflate pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian coach has been the subject of criticisms and speculations have it that he is heading for the exit door. Previous Premier League goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, recently said that Manchester United needs to replace Ed Woodward with someone who definitely knows the job and the game.

Hislop added that after Woodward, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must also go. He also thinks that Massimiliano Allegri could lead to United and resolve things. Shaka Hislop shared that he is now confused on what Manchester United is all about and on what he is hearing from the team. He also criticized the club's recent statement released last weekend telling how disappointed it is with the results just like the fans but gave assurance that it will get things right.
Shaka Hislop said that the statement was the unconvincing one that he has heard from the Manchester United board, especially from a club with such magnitude. He added that if the issue is because of the culture at Manchester United, he believes that the solution could include not only looking on what is happening in the field but also in the club's boardroom.
